The 1-800-STRIPER story.

According to the brand’s history, Luke Menear entered pavement maintenance in 1999 and moved into ownership after purchasing striping equipment. The FDD separately identifies the franchisor’s incorporation in 2019 and the start of franchising in January 2020.

The customer experience.

Customers hire the business to refresh pavement markings, plan new layouts and mark commercial spaces. The experience centers on coordinating the work with the property’s operations and delivering a visible, finished result.

The people and franchise concept.

The owner develops local customer relationships, leads the team and oversees the work. The April 2025 FDD describes a full-time owner or principal, with an approved trained manager permitted. This is an operating business to build, rather than an absentee investment.
